Six String Bass Fretted Mode

Six String Bass Fretted Mode

We are happy to present the second generation of fretted/fretless instruments. The design was improved in this generation. The design of the switching mechanism has been changed to make it more ergonomic and reliable. This new generation brings together the use of modern high quality materials and advanced technologies. Every part of the mechanism is made and fit with high precision which ensures reliability and longevity.

Neck production includes a new technology consisting of impregnating the wood with resin. This technology utilizes a vacuum and high pressure to impregnate completely throughout the wood. This technology allows for the prevention of shrinking, swelling, warping, twisting, etc. of the neck which stabilizes the neck material and allows for a more precise setup. The necessity of a finish is eliminated; the surface of the neck remains silky-smooth.

The frets are made from hard stainless steel; the fingerboard, out of hard plastic. This allows for the use throughout many years without noticeable wear on the playing surface. The mechanism will not need any maintenance or adjustment throughout its lifetime. All maintenance is reduced to that made to any other regular instrument.

The idea of independent tone setup, for each mode (fretted/fretless), was realized in the instruments of the second generation.

In the body of the instrument, there is a sensor that detects the position of the switching lever and automatically switches the electric circuit to match the fretted or fretless mode. The instrument utilizes two preamps that can be setup independently for each mode and are switched automatically with the changing position of the switching lever.

Only quality selected wood is used to build the instruments.

All this ensures reliability, longevity and a unique sound for each instrument.
